One of the most common and frustrating problems with bathrooms, is having enough storage for all of your toiletries and necessity's. This can be an especially painful problem in smaller bathrooms in particular, given that there is only a limited amount of space for you to put everything. Your renovation, your rules - just be as practical and realistic as you can without keeping your eye off the desired end result.
Now, this next point is arguably the most important when it comes to a bathroom renovation, and creating more space: Having well-placed Bathroom Vanity Units. A Bathroom Vanity Unit or two is vital if you want to reduce the amount of clutter in your bathroom and create more space for you and your family to breathe. For example, when you consider that every bathroom needs a sink, then why have a sink and a stand-alone vanity unit when you can all too easily combine the two and create extra storage space? There is a wealth of stunning bathroom vanity units with ceramic or stone top basin combinations for you to choose from on the market, so it is certainly something that you should look into.
Following that it may be worth looking into installing a corner vanity unit or wall-mounted mirrored cabinet. (or even both) A wall-mounted mirror cabinet above the sink not only creates more space for your essentials, but it is also an incredibly practical tool for when you need to gauge just how terrible you look in the morning. And as well, with a corner vanity unit you are best utilising all of the space available to you, which is rather an important thing to do if you want to pull off the best possible bathroom renovation.
To sum up, all you need to do is take a step back and plan everything thoroughly. It is an expensive task having your bathroom re-plumbed only to realise afterwards that you've made a mistake with your layout and have to re-think it all over again. Of course it is a stressful and time-consuming process, though if you just relax and breathe, then you will make fewer mistakes and you can hurry up and have the bathroom that you've always dreamed of.
